Constantin Gonzalez

Hi, my name is Constantin Gonzalez and this is my blog.

You can find a lot of information on me by looking at my LinkedIn profile, my Twitter page or visiting my German Paleo Blog “Paleosophie”.

My current home is in Munich, Germany. I live here with my wife Friederike and my daughters Amanda and Helena.

I’m a Principal Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS) where I help customers in Germany build new and innovative solutions in the Cloud.

Born June 23rd, 1971 in Bonn-Bad Godesberg, grew up in Bogotá (Colombia), Istanbul (Turkey), Bonn-Bad Godesberg (Germany), Rome (Italy). According to Wikipedia, that makes me a Third Culture Kid. Finished a “Diplom Informatiker” degree at the Clausthal University of Technology in Computer Science (now that would probably be called a “Master’s degree”). During my university time, I was CEO of a pub, played a role in a theater, helped publish a newspaper and showed movies in the local cinema. My thesis was around helping create the first web-enabled digital set top box project in Germany. That was 1997-98. In 1998 I joined Sun Microsystems and in 2012 I left Oracle to join AWS where I get to learn about and build with cool technology every day.

This is the blog of Constantin Gonzalez, a Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services, with more than 25 years of IT experience.
